Ok it’s that time – contest time! The rules are pretty simple, we will actually be breaking this contest into two phases (hat tip: We actually got this contest idea from Kelly over at WAHM Talk Radio – The Blog)!
Phase one will happen right now, and the rules are:
- Post a 100-250 word comment to this post explaining why you need a free custom WordPress design! Feel free to include what your blog is about and/or what you will be using your blog for.
- Be sure to post a link back to your blog within your comment. If you don’t have a blog yet, then just say my blog is a work in progress. ;)
- The first three people to post a comment to this post that meet the guidelines stated above will automatically be bumped up to phase two.
- The rest of the comments posted that meet the requirements listed above will be drawn at random at the end of phase one, and 4 more people will be placed in phase two of our contest.
- Phase one will end in one week from the time of this post!

I am going to move my blog over to WordPress. I have blogged for not quite a year and want to step it up a bit. The problem? The design of my blog is BORING (zzzzzz). It in NO WAY reflects my whimsical, creative, sassy personality. Without help I am sure to fade away into an abyss of snoozer blogs that quash creativity rather than inspire it. Yikes! Bottom line? I do not have the skills to create the whimisical backdrop for my words that you ladies have. Additionally, my blog is a mess of random thoughts that I really would like to organize. Your designs would inspire me for sure! To sum it up: My blog www. thirstythirsty.blogspot.com/ equals BORING. Send help ASAP.

I would really like to win this contest because my brother and his wife had a new baby and I set up a blog for them, but I had to use a free template. It looks “ok” but it isn’t that vibrant. I really want something exciting for their blog. They are displaying baby pictures for the family and it is just all very new to them and they are just thrilled to have it – they say the design that I got free is great, but I know they would love something with pizazz and you do the best pizazz I know. I’m not comfortable leaving the link on a public post since the site is filled with baby pics, but I will email it to you if you like. I even set up the blog to not be indexed by Google because I am so uncomfortablw with it, LOL! As a Mom I know you “get” that. ;) Anyways, I just really think that after all they went through having this baby (stress, anxiety, weeks in the hospital) that a nice new peppy design would be great! Thanks!
Heather I am really excited about this. Being a mom who works from home it gets hard when money is not flowing to allow for the tools and resources you need to make your business thrive. Right now my fund are very low and can I be honest, my husband is not that supportive of my business. Probably because it does not turn much of a profit.
I would love to win a free blog customization because I know if I am able to customize my blog, which functions as my site, it will help to catapult my business beyond even my wildest dreams. VEgan Family Living is important to me because I help people move into a healthier way of life through the power of food.
I really can’t say much else other than I would really like to win because a sister is having it rough right now.

I’m new to the work at home group and my blog/podcast is http://www.wonderyearsradio.com I am trying to bring helpful information to mothers who have elementary school children and since I have two kids going through the ranks right now, I wanted to help other moms figure out all the issues that they may come across.
Right now my design is just OK. I have done the best I can with the template but I have so much to say it seems like it’s all just a jumbled mess. I would love a new, snazzy, more professional design.

I just had Heather design my new wordpress blog http://kidsfunreviewed.com. She did a wonderful job, and I love the bright fun design. I still get excited every time I open my blog just looking at it. It makes me feel like a kid again.
I have an idea for a new blog I’d like to set up, and I’d love to have Heather design another template for me. I’m also thinking about changing another established gardening blog I have in blogger to a wordpress format. Hmmm which to do first?

I would like to have a Girly Blog Designz because I want something professional looking with a feminine feel. I use my blog, like many others, as a place to express my deepest thoughts for the world to see. There are so many things that my tongue cannot say; yet my pen can write. There are so many words for Jesus; so many ways to share and encourage those who do not know him. A blog can reach millions of people and it should look good doing it. I have no sage advice and I am not as educated in the Bible as I wish, but I can share my journey. There must be others on the same stretch of spiritual road as I am. If I can encourage just one person it will be worth all the time I spend typing. I am currently sharing my journey through Rick Warren’s book “The Purpose Driven Life.” This consists of 40 separate postings with my answers to the questions he poses from the reading. I encourage my readers to borrow the book from the library if they cannot afford to buy it and follow along with me or just ponder the questions for themselves. Maybe I can be a spring board for other to jog their thoughts. I wish I had a spring board as this is a hard task before me.
P.S. I don’t see why I can use the template for blogger.

I would love to have a Girly Blog Designz theme for my blog, Being Frugal.net/. My current theme is OK, but I’m finding that things don’t fit in the sidebars the way they’re supposed to, and the colors of my links can be hard to read.
Being Frugal.net is doing really well right now, and I think it’s time to move to a custom design. Unfortunately I can’t afford one right now. I’ve scoured the internet for themes that will work, and I just don’t like any of them.
I need a theme to promote frugality and good money management. I want something that reflects my interest in frugal living, but is still fun.
Heather designed the theme for my other blog, From Under the Clutter, and I just love it! I would love to work with Girly Blog Designz again.

I vote for LaTara! I think what she is doing with the Vegan Family Living is AWESOME! I would never imagine myself being interested in a Vegan eating lifestyle but LaTara and Vegan Family Living has change my way of thinking!
