The Deal with Freebie Friday

OK so the past few weeks have had no Freebie Friday, and there have been several reasons for this.

One of the rules of Freebie Friday is that once you have been contacted you are required to provide the information requested within 24 hours, and if you don’t then we can’t guarantee a time frame in which things will be situated with your prize.

It’s hurts Girly Blog Designz when we request the information and then receive it one week, and sometimes two weeks later. I try and schedule the Freebie Fridays on my free time in order to give my readers a gift, so when the information that is requested is sent on a day or week I don’t have time to work on the Freebie then this is a big problem for us.

We have this rule for MANY reasons, and one of them being - this design business is run by ONE person - me. I am a homeschooling mom of three, with a husband, and a very busy design business. I have a set schedule in order to make sure my life stays balanced. So I only have set amount of time to finish designs, install them, and make sure everyone who has purchased a design from me is happy with their purchase.

I am the type of person who cares very deeply about customer service. I have had so many bad experiences in the past with designers, that when I started this business I was determined to provide the best service possible at the most affordable price. With that being said it is still very hard to do when you are the only person running the show, and if you are trying to make sure no one in your family is being neglected either.

With that being said I still think I run things pretty well. It takes a lot of organization, rules, and discipline to keep this business going, but I can and have been doing it.

So that’s why we have those rules for the Freebie Friday, and unfortunately from now if the information requested is not received within 24 hours then we cannot make any guarantees as to when your prize will be delivered if at all. This is a rule that I must enforce because customer service to my paying clients is oh so very important to me.

I am trying to keep the Freebie Friday going, but if I get swamped with clients then there simply will not be a giveaway that week. I am sorry for anyone who was not aware of this rule before, but I will make sure to post all the rules with each Freebie Friday giveaway from now on.

I would also like to say thank you to all of my clients who have been here since the beginning and to all of my new clients. I would also like to express my gratitude for your patience. The past month or so has been so busy, and I will admit I may have overbooked along with delays that are beyond our control, but you all have been so great. So thank you for your patience and understanding, I am so grateful for having some of the best clients on the web!
