Happy 1st Birthday!
Well Girly Blog Designz is officially 1 year old!! Our day of birth was actually on May 31, 2007 - that is the date when I actually took the plunge to move my design business from my personal blog and turn it into the business it is now - Girly Blog Designz.
A little background on the name: After completing my very first design and after I started getting orders from on line friends, I asked my husband what should I call this new business, and since he thought ALL of my designs were…well…..girly…he said “Girly Blog Designz” and I thought hey that’s NOT a bad name, so that’s when the name was born.
Girly Blog Designz had some really humble beginnings and started on a page of my personal blog, then eventually grew to it’s very own website and full blown design business. Back when we first started you could get a custom design for an astounding $25, and a premade design for just $10!!! Well things have certainly changed, but we still continue to grow, and grow, and grow!
I really just want to say thank you to everyone who has been so wonderful to trust Girly Blog Designz with your design needs. I value every single one of you, and I am so grateful to God for providing me with a thriving design business that has truly been a wonderful experience, and the creative outlet I have been needing for quite some time.
I appreciate you ALL!
