Network with Other Bloggers

If you are trying to get more readers and more traffic to your blog, well then networking with other bloggers is definitely the way to go!  I have found that finding and making new bloggy friends to be the best form of networking on line, and some helpful ways to network on line are:

1. Post comments on blogs you like.  Get involved with other blogs that interest you and ones that you feel may interest your readers.  Being active within the blogging community requires posting comments and even replying to your own blog comments, it shows other fellow bloggers that you are their to make friends and this will interest them in becoming an active participant within your blog network as well!

2. Join some on line communities just for bloggers!  Chatting it up and talking about blogging will help grow your readership base IF you place your link in your signature line immediately after your name within your posts.   But be sure to actively participate.  Networking isn’t just a few posts here and there, it is about making friends on line, and building relationships.  So help when you can help, share resources that you feel will be beneficial to other bloggers, and start showing the people within your network that you truly do care about them and their blog!

3. Participate in Blog Memes and Group Writing Projects. There are several blog memes out there and the best way to get to know other bloggers is to participate in their memes, and then go and post comments on the other blogs that also did the meme.  It is so simple and fun because most memes are about writing and blogging, and if you have a blog your doing that anyway so you might as well make some bloggity friends while you are at it!

So there you have it, networking is about forming relationships, and if you ask me, blogging is the best form of networking out there.  If you provide quality content that reflects YOUR personality then you can start building your very own on line network while having fun and sharing your thoughts!
